Why is there suddenly a thing on writblr that people telling you they like your work isn’t good enough? When did that happen?

In the last three days I’ve seen so many posts like “when someone says its good *insert roll eye gif*” or “i don’t want any positive comments I want only constructive criticism.” Or the worst “if you aren’t going to write a paragraph on it then don’t comment”.

I’m sorry but wtf?????? I’m over the moon if someone even LIKES my work let alone reblogs/comments that they like it. Don’t complain that no one is reblogging your work if you’re going to be a dick about people commenting on it.

As I like to say, one should appreciate their silent supporters just as much as their vocal ones. Not everyone has the time to sit down and gush about how much they enjoyed your work, after all.
