This may be an unpopular opinion but I’m sick of people saying addiction is a disease as opposed to a choice. ITS BOTH. And people can’t seem to see that. The truth is that it’s a person’s *choice* to do that drug, and as a result of that *choice* they develop an addiction, the *disease* yknow? Yet all I see is people saying it’s one or the other. It’s creating needless arguments when it’s clearly both a choice and a disease. Some diseases can be self inflicted, intentionally or not. I tagged warnings because this can obviously be a trigger to someone. If I missed a tag I sincerely apologise.
