tony stark in invincible iron man #4

Me, sobbing: I love a man

This is fantastic because I LOVE that Tonys adoration of children has, as far as I know, never been taken away as a character trait.

It’s been used against him, and thinking of the future, and kids futures, are what primarily effect his decisions. the most prominent one that comes to mind is the civil war comic, where he choses to be pro registration act becuase a grieving mother said the death of her son was his fault. (Something that translated over into cap 3).

Tony Stark has always, always loved children ever since he was originally created.

Do you know what inspired the original, iconic red and gold theme Tony has on his suits? He wanted to “strike fear into the enemies hearts” but this terrified the little children so the vibrant and colorful red and gold theme was a way to balance it. His iconic look and color scheme was literally because he didn’t want to scare small children.

Tony Stark has always loved kids.

Why do you think he’s always considering the future as more important than the present? Because he wants to leave the kids in a better world.
