The Moon and the Sun of my life 🙂
Thoth-Djehuty and Skanda/Kartikeya/Murugan… the friendship of my beloved Gods, union of rudraksha & carnelian;
… my feeling towards Them both is bhakti-love-devotion that has no limits or boundaries between pantheons 🙂Feng Shui teaches that there are times when spirits clash, I hope there’s a sure way to tell without having to pick up the compatability with the third eye. I would like to believe that gods will always get along, but my cousin consulted a Daoist master when his jade tortoise broke for no apparent reason, the Daoist master told him to choose either the Cross he’s wearing or the “spiritised” tortoise in his house. He discussed with the rest of the family and decided to try a new tortoise, but it soon happened again. He eventually chose the Cross over the tortoise since only the tortoise ended up breaking. It only happened, said the Master, because the tortoise went through the ceremony so there’s a spirit attached to it.
Yeah, that does happen in certain situations. Sometimes certain deities or spirits don’t get along, either due to events from mythology (ex. Yemaya and Oya) or I think in this case, Christianity’s exclusive claim to the divine. The tortoise spirit may not have liked the cross due to most Christians’ stance that spirits are really demons.
In my case, Djehuty, Kartikeya, and generally Netjeru and Shiva & family get along very well. I have separate main kemetic shrine, but there is also shared devotional space, and this photo is from Akhu shrine in my room. Kartikeya wanted his statue to be there and Djehuty was all for it. There were vibes I was getting that they approve.
I noticed that Netjeru and the Devas get along well.Yeah, I can’t see them having any beef (no pun intended in the Devas part!). Both are from ancient, open religions that tolerate different theologies and interpretations.
